Apply now for student visas for early 2025

We are now in our peak processing period.

Students and their advisers are reminded to apply at least 3 months before they plan to travel to New Zealand.  

By now, most students should have received an offer of place from their chosen education provider.

Anyone wishing to study in early 2025 should apply now or they risk their application not being processed in time for them to start studying.

We acknowledge that some students will be waiting on key study documentation. Please apply as soon as they have all their documents.  

You can also apply for their visa earlier than 3 months ahead of travel, once you have all of the required information and documents.

To avoid delays, please follow our student visa information sheets. If you do not include all the required documents with their application, it may be declined.
