Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Analysis:
- Define and document functional requirements for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to gather feedback and verify requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear, actionable user stories for the development team.
- Provide technical support for business initiatives, including evaluating new technologies.
- Software Development Support:
- Develop and execute functional and user test plans to ensure solution quality.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to validate that implemented solutions meet original requirements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and management as a liaison.
- Document technical processes to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
- Deployment and Post-Deployment Support:
- Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses for deployment projects.
- Provide technical support during deployment and upgrades, ensuring release documentation is accurate.
- Assist project engineers in documenting requirements and reporting software issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business analysis, including experience in requirement definition, user story creation, and communication with development teams.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of SDLC, software testing, and project management. Familiarity with .NET, C#, SQL Server, or Delphi is a plus.
- Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office, SQL, Azure DevOps, and other software tools.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Proven ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to managing potential issues.
Desirable Experience:
Experience with industrial control systems, data analytics, or IoT is advantageous, along with additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese).
