About this role:
In this newly created role, you will spearhead the creation of groundbreaking formulations for confectionery and nutraceutical products. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing new formulations, scaling production processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
As the Senior Product Development Technologist, you will be at the forefront of research and development efforts, shaping the future of product offerings. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments, ensuring seamless integration of new formulations into manufacturing operations.
Duties:
- Lead the development of new formulations, focusing on hard candy and gummy formats.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and scale production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new formulations into production.
- Provide support for the Product Development team as it expands.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in Product Development, specialising in hard candy and gummy formats.
- Proficiency in working with sugars.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing new formulations.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
