About the Role:
You will be working within a multidisciplinary team and closely with clients to help them reach their treatment goals. As a registered Mental Health Professional, you will facilitate clinical reviews and complete tasks like creating personalised plans and implementing actions towards the goals created in partnership with your clients. You will be taking the clinical lead in supporting your clients towards their recovery, whilst also coaching and mentoring support staff to achieve greater health outcomes.
About You:
We are looking for someone who describes themselves as proactive, self-motivated and driven to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will be culturally aware and understand the needs of Māori and other cultures. You will also have the following:
- Previous experience working in Mental Health & Addiction
- Knowledge of community resources and support networks
- Competency in profession-specific assessment and interventions
- Registration with a Professional Body covered by HCPA 2003 Act or Social Worker Registration Act 2003
- Relevant health care degree level qualification (e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology)
- Current full Annual Practicing Certificate
- Health sector/social service sector or related experience, working effectively with individuals and family in a complex needs environment
