Paving Contract Manager

About this role:

The Paving Contract Manager will provide you will be responsible for ensuring the profitable and viable growth of Paving Contracts. The role is a critical part of our team, your key responsibilities include;

• Planning and tendering – Production of contract methodology, budgets and programmers alongside Estimators
• Outcome Management - Plan and direct operations to achieve and exceed requirements
• Client management                
• Maintaining all Safety, Environmental and Quality assurance systems

Important skills:
With substantial project and people management experience, and a firm foundation of working in Paving, Surfacing and/or Civil Construction, you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle this role. We’d also value;

• A tertiary qualification or equivalent in engineering or business management.
• Proven contract management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment
• Proven track record in identifying, researching and developing marketplace opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience developing a culture that supports SQE management, encouraging and rewarding excellence
• The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture
• Clear demonstration of leadership behaviours that empower others to make decisions, deliver and succeed
