Quantity Surveying Technician

Cost Management of construction contracts and of half of the Housing Improvement Project (HIP) for Aberdeenshire Council.
Approve works orders as well as variations for above project and complete valuations
Manage costs of other projects that I’m in charge of
Assist in the measurement and take-off of quantities from project drawings and specifications
Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors to analyse project costs, prepare tender documents, and evaluate subcontractor bids
Participate in the valuation of work in progress, including the measurement of completed work and the preparation of progress payment applications
Support the identification and evaluation of variations, claims, and contractual disputes
Contribute to cost control efforts by assisting in monitoring project expenditures and analysing cost deviations
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow projections
