Overview: Develop/test software and oversee mathematical modelling of insurance products

Software Development:

• Design, code, test, and maintain software applications and tools for calculating pensions, costs, and other financial metrics
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify and implement appropriate solutions

Pension Calculation and Analysis:

• Utilise mathematical algorithms and formulas to calculate pension amounts based on various parameters such as employment history, salary information, and retirement age
• Collaborate with actuaries and pension experts to validate calculations and refine algorithms as needed

Pension Insurance Project:

• Mathematical modelling of products performance profile and estimate future pensions via long-term simulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, underwriters, and legal experts, to develop product specifications, policies, and documentation

Insurance Consultant

Overview: Consulting and assisting customers in the insurance sector on projects such as the introduction of new products and migration of software systems

• Worked with a customer to introduce new inventory management software to their company
• Created test case to verify new software’s accuracy in terms of mathematical calculations of insurance products
• Wrote software to automate test processes and updated product documentation to represent new calculation methods, introduced alongside the software migration
