I joined this company as a Site Manager. I was later promoted to Project Manager and then to Manager (Projects).

Duties include:

• Ensuring budgetary control through detailed cost plans and estimates.
• Preparing master programmes, resource histograms and machinery utilization schedules, and arranging human and other resources accordingly.
• Carrying out value engineering and negotiating with clients and consultants.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders. While being an employee of this organisation, I was assigned the role of Managing Director/ CEO of the following two companies within the same corporate group.

Duties include:

• Ensuring proper functioning and development of the company.
• Ensuring proper financial control.
• Liaising with all stakeholders.

Site Manager

Duties included:

• Overall project coordination
• Monitoring and controlling site progress, quality and safety.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and specialized sub-contractors.
• Project planning.

Civil Engineer

Duties included:

• Overall project coordination and quality control.
• Interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
• Ensuring project activities are in line with the deadlines.

Site Engineer

Duties included:

• Ensuring proper construction methodology was adopted.
• Ensuring the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Ensuring proper sequence of work is followed.
