Coordinator of Cybersecurity Initiatives

• Ensures the program is responsive to requests from regional institutions, candidate institutions, and the company Program Office
• Collaborates with internal faculty and staff and external constituents to facilitate cooperation, participation, and effective communication in the interest of meeting program goals
• Coordinates events including but not limited to competitions, conferences, and online workshops
• Compiles, maintains and analyzes program data and responds to requests for data or analysis from the program’s Principal Investigator, Program Office, or external constituencies
• Facilitates, processes, and monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity

• Provide students with a broad understanding of the concepts and interdisciplinary applications of cybersecurity and its impact on society
• Examine the historical development of security in technology as it relates to governance, personal information and assets, and major commercial sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing
• Introduce basic networking, assessing, and handling of security risks, hardware components, and basic computer troubleshooting Class: Computers and Society
• Provide knowledge of relevant computer skills and a solid foundation in the terminology and concepts of computer technology
• Provided experience with a variety of microcomputer software applications, including word processing, electronic spreadsheets, graphics, file management, and integrated software
• Focus on preparing students for a technologically oriented society and using the computer as a tool for productivity, research, and communication

Coordinator of the Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Regional Resource Center for the company's Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense program
• Ensures the Regional Resource Center is responsive to requests from regional institutions, candidate institutions, and the company
• Compiles, maintains and analyzes regional data and responds to requests for data or analysis for the Regional Resource Center, Program Office, or external constituencies
• Prepares professional periodic and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders

Investigator

• Located and classified individuals involved in insurance fraud for the State Insurance Fund as well as other insurance providers
• Obtained undercover pinhole camera footage documenting fraudulent activity as well as handled evidence, including video and reports
• Conducted field interviews with subjects identified as involved in fraud and prepared reports to be introduced in court
• Accessed secure databases to build case files to aid in investigations of persons suspected of fraud
• Possesses diverse experience and knowledge of insurance industry, as well as client and customer relations
