Associate Dean & Assistant Professor

• Create and conduct lectures, tutorials and assessments for public speaking, media and public relations, sociocultural communication, introduction to organizational communication, globalization and communication, integrated marketing communication, civic consciousness and volunteering and also supervise public relations projects aimed at pre-university and undergraduate students.
• Create projection for both income and expenses (budgets) for the entire faculty and also generate annual quality evaluation reports for the faculty.
• Prepare purchase requisitions to obtain library materials, equipment, educational software and other non-current assets on behalf of the faculty.
• Guide my faculty team members in engaging with roadshows and education exhibitions to market the university to potential clientele.
• Strategize staffing requirement for my faculty and compile a list of candidates, along with organizing interviews for prospective lecturers and tutors.
• Perform internal and external peer evaluations for coursework assessment components and final examination created by faculty colleagues.
• Serve as a Student Advisor/Mentor, providing guidance to students regarding academic concerns, course-related queries and career choices.
• Engage in research endeavors and share discoveries through publications in journals and conference proceedings.
• Coordinate and oversee the arrangement of internship opportunities for students.
• Create Quality Assurance documentation for the courses offered within my faculty in preparation for the scheduled evaluations conducted by the Qualifications Agency.
• Chair the faculty committee in recommending the curriculum for forthcoming pre-university and undergraduate programmes.
• Collaborate with external parties such as the Institute of Public Relation.
