Accountant / General Manager
Responsible for:
- Preparing Payments (Local & Overseas);
- Reconciliation of supplier invoices (Local & Overseas);
- Liaise with debtors;
- Bank Reconciliation;
- GL Reconciliations;
- VAT;
- Payroll;
- PAYE;
- Passing of journal entries;
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register;
- Preparation of Monthly and Yearly Financials;
- Supervising day-to-day administrative activities;
- Liaising with external Auditors;
- Oversee the overall operation of the company;
- Organising in-house finance for certain customers;
- Ensure the company’s income target is met;
- Bringing in new customers to the company and at the same time maintaining the existing ones;
- Analyse and provide weekly reports on business results against targets;
- Organising the marketing activities of the company;
- Managing, supervising and motivating the staff;
- Research, collate and analyse competitor information to enhance business growth;
- Networking with stakeholders;
- Other duties as allocated by the director.
Manager Lending
Responsible for:
- Ensuring new business target for Suva Branch is achieved;
- Analyse and provide weekly and monthly reports on business results against approved targets;
- Bringing in new customers and also maintaining the existing client base.
- Manage and oversee the overall lending department and its functions for Suva and Nabua branch;
- Complete full credit analysis and preparing loan/credit applications for decision-making;
- Writing up of Board papers and management reports;
- Analysing and recommending loan applications to CEO for decision-making;
- Ensuring credit policies and procedures are adhered and reviewing/evaluating this on a timely basis;
- Management and growth of Lending Portfolio;
- Prepare portfolio analysis together with analysing business risk;
- Analysing business performance especially focusing on key financial and performance indicators;
- Ensuring improvements in business processes for the organisation;
- Prepare offer letters for approved deals and follow through to closure of sale;
- Facilitate loan documentation and drawdown for closed sales;
- Supervision of Lending department staff;
- Reviewing team members' portfolio on a timely basis by providing feedback;
- Appraising lending staff and also conducting regular agenda-based meetings with them;
- Recognizing and rewarding the department upon achievement of targets;
- Ensuring client queries/complaints are addressed in a timely and professional manner;
- Conduct market survey and identify new business opportunities;
- Develop marketing strategies and new products that meet customer demands and needs;
- Establishing and building positive working relationships with major customers and key stakeholders;
- Maintaining and improving Market share;
- Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers.
Senior Lending Officer
Responsible for:
- Ensuring new business target is achieved;
- Analysing credit proposals, preparing credit applications and making recommendations to management for decision-making;
- Analyse and provide weekly and monthly reports on business results against approved targets;
- Bringing in new customers and also maintaining the existing client base;
- Ensuring credit policies and procedures are adhered and reviewing/evaluating this on a timely basis;
- Prepare portfolio analysis together with analysing business risk;
- Ensuring improvements in business processes for the organisation;
- Prepare offer letters for approved deals and follow through to closure of sale;
- Facilitate loan documentations and drawdown for closed sale;
- Conduct market survey and identify new business opportunities;
- Ensuring 24-hours loan turnaround time frame is met;
- Maintaining and improving relationships with customers and dealers;
- Analysing business performance especially focusing on key financial and performance indicators;
- Analysing financial proposals submitted by customers;
- Determining customers serviceability from their financial statements and sources of income;
- Assisting in general collections;
- Ensuring Growth in the loan portfolio and managing this portfolio;
- Conduct market survey and identify new business opportunities;
- Other analytical duties, networking amongst customers and day-to-day duties
